Male kudus are most likely to be solitary. Kudus are browsers and eat leaves and shoots. A kudu horn is a musical instrument made from the horn of the kudu. A form of it is sometimes used as a shofar in Jewish ceremonies. |

When threatened, the kudu will often run away rather than fight. |

Wildebeest often graze in mixed herds with zebra which gives heightened awareness of potential predators. They are also alert to the warning signals emitted by other animals such as baboons. Males are larger than females and both have heavy forequarters compared to their hindquarters. They have broad muzzles, Roman noses, shaggy manes and tails. Today was a hard hunt in 95 degree weather that actually didn't even feel like it because of the lack of humidity. David was successful with a Wildebeest that we are going to make a rug with it. |

Although capable of fighting (males aggressively fight each other during mating season), the common warthog's primary defense is to flee by means of fast sprinting. And they run! They were probably the most persistent animal and hardest to track for our hunt.
