Orphanage

On our way to the airport we stopped by an orphanage to bring the processed meat from our hunt. This orphanage began 6 years ago by a number of churches in USA. Currently they have 24 children ages 3 to 15. The most recent children that joined them were found sleeping with the goats and eating every 3 days. There were 3 if them from 1 family that had been physically abused and the little 6 year old girl had been raped. Each child has their story. How wonderful we could bring good meat that will feed them for weeks.

This is the name of the orphanage and the entrance.

We stopped at a grocery store first to buy corn meal, fruit juice, and some treats.

Inside their school

They try to be self sustaining with vegetables and chickens that lay eggs and also will roast some. So the meat is very appreciated.

Currently there are 3 housing units

Here are the 2 directors of the school - former military men.

Very heart warming.

The children sang "This Little Light of Mine" in English. I think they said there was 11 tribal languages spoken there. The rest of the children were at school.

The colorful playground

Here is a sample of the housing the children come from. People come from neighboring countries to move just to live here in these metal shacks.

Because of the wood the man has collected, he is considered a rich man.
